To serve our Lord Jesus Christ; by nurturing our members through programs which support the development of our children and youth, the maturation of the Adults, and the care of the Senior Adults; by reaching out to the unsaved in our community through various projects and evangelism; and by partnering in local and Southern Baptist Missions and other worthy ministries to reach the world for Christ.

Originally founded in 1928, the Stanardsville Baptist Church has been part of the culture of Greene County for over 80 years. In that time the church has been expanded three times, most recently in 2007. Sunday School classes for all ages, Bible studies, and mission groups for children and youth.  There are programs for every member of the family.
